Sweater Fashion.
I never really thought of sweaters as a fashion piece or wardrobe essential till I started my recent 9 – 5.
When I think of sweaters, I think of something I can wear to either keep the cold at bay or relax at home, and not to pull off a stylish look. This meant that I never used to go shopping for sweaters with “style” in mind.
Thankfully I’ve seen the light and now realize that sweater fashion is indeed a thing and sweaters can be paired in stylish ways to complete a look.

TMI time – I got this sweater from an ex fling. I was going on a trip and was going to be away for some time, so he sent me his sweater doused in perfume to keep me company and remind me of him. At the time, it was the sweetest gesture ever.
I’m glad I kept it because this sweater has come in handy for a lot of my “sweater fashion” moments.
Here’s A Tip:
You can transform a classic sweater into a fashionable piece by layering a shirt underneath it, and that’s what I did with this outfit. I finished up my look with chic sunglasses.
This look was actually inspired by someone I follow on Instagram (@mako_od). His version was styled with sneakers and a pair of white socks pulled up. Immediately I saw it on Instagram, I knew that it was a look that I’ll be recreating soon.
I wore this during my time in Ethiopia. The chilly weather over there made it possible for me to wear a sweater to move around without bothering about “heat”.

Thanks Cassie, I love to maximize cloths too.
Sweater fashion was not really a thing, to be honest. Sweaters were only relevant when it’s cold, but I’m definitely trying out the look you created in Ethiopia soon!
