My Experience With The Mega Growth Leave In Strengthener – Review + Giveaway.

Let me just get it out there real quick – I’ve never used a leave in strengthener /condition and I hardly moisturize my scalp.

Now you can go ahead and judge me. Truly, I deserve any judgment coming my way. Because how do I expect my hair to grow when it’s not being properly moisturized or showed much love right?

Thankfully I’m learning these things and like they say, it’s never too late to pick up new habits/things. So with this in mind, I was happy to find out that I was being sent the mega growth leave in strengthener for a review.

Now it’s a bit tricky because if I’m being honest, how does one review a leave in strengthener? I’m no hair blogger but I’d be sharing my two cents based on my experience in the past three weeks with the Mega growth leave-in strengthener.

What MegaGrowth Says It Does – Product Claim/Description.

The Mega growth leave in strengthener infuses a blend of natural oils (olive, shea, argan, avocado, coconut) and conditioning proteins that help strengthen hair deep inside with daily defense against breakage, split ends and dryness.

My Experience with the Mega growth leave in strengthener (Review).

The mega growth leave in strengthener comes in a tub which I like as I can easily just dip my fingers in and take as much as I want.

The scent is super sweet, a bit too sweet for me personally but a couple of people have told me they like the way my hair smells so I guess I can’t complain too much.

It has a creamy but lightweight consistency and doesn’t feel heavy on my hair – this is important for me because I don’t have the time to keep working it into my hair to make sure I don’t walk around with whitish residue on my hair.

Like I said in my previous hair post, my hair is really full and quite tough. It never sits how I want it to and this makes styling it so stressful. So one of the first things I really wanted to check out was how well the leave in strengthener would help with styling my hair.

The first thing I noticed was that it really is as moisturizing as they claim. When I apply it to my hair, my hair feels soft & slightly wet and this stays on for the better part of the day.

It makes combing out my hair such a walk in the park. I do this terrible thing where I sleep without a scarf and most times my hair gets so tangled that I have to comb it in steps but with this, all I have to do is apply it to my hair, comb out peacefully and style it however I want.

I would have loved to be a miser with the product but unfortunately, with my hair texture and fullness, a little doesn’t go a long way and I have to be generous with my application.

How I use the Mega growth leave in strengthener.

• As a daily moisturizer.
• Before I straighten my hair to prevent heat damage.
• To style and get my hair “into formation”.
