The mixed prints fashion trend is one that has made its rounds and paid its dues on this blog. I’ve been mixing prints from the time I heard it was now a thing and you can find evidence of my claim here, here. here and here (Including my tips on how to do the mixed prints fashion trend right here). I find that it is one easy way to fake this style thing till you make it, so even though it’s pretty much all dead and gone now, you’d still find me rocking the trend.

I feel like talking about mixed prints fashion and how to nail the trend will be like flogging a dead horse or what’s that thing they say again? So let’s focus on this outfit and the inspiration behind it instead. Shall We?
Need Some Inspiration To Rock The Mixed Prints Trend? Check This Style Post Out! Click To TweetFlared pants are one fashion item that I love so much and can’t wait to have in every color. They make life a bit easier especially when you have to decide what to wear to a “prim and proper” event. And if you’re like me, whose style tilts more to the street style end, then you’ll realize how much of a lifesaver they can be. So, when I came across this red striped pants from a new fashion brand “Nale Girl” that I’m currently obsessed with, I knew I just had to have one. Bonus point? They make super long pants for tall girls like me!

This style post is all the inspiration you need to get the mixed prints fashion trend right everytime! Click To TweetI wore this to the Lux x Maju event the other weekend. The Lux brand is one I grew up with, so it was really exciting watching them re-invent themselves. What did you think of the Lux and Maju collaboration?
Also, let me know your thoughts on this outfit and how you would style the pants differently.
