Here’s My Favorite Way To Top Off An Outfit.

Hardly the right outfit post to round up the year but I really wanted to put this up before the new year because it has been stuck in my drafts since this time last year. I had planned something more glam in the spirit of Christmas but life got in the way – what’s that thing about man proposing and God disposing again?

If you follow me on the gram, you probably already know that I had a surgery sometime last week and still recuperating from it. That pushed all my plans of a “Christmas/new year” look shoot down the drain and explains a bit of why I’ve been absent from the blog for a while now too.

But, I digress from the main gist of this post a bit. If you’re wondering what my favorite way to top off my outfit is, it’s the hat of course! Although, I’m more into fedoras and wide-brimmed hats, this time around I decided to try my hands at styling the baseball hat.

I’ve never really been into baseball hats and would hardly reach for one to complete an outfit till I tried out this look and realized how well it all worked together. Baseball hats in my books were solely for bad hair days, market runs and super casual outings but never for a “stylish getup” but I’m glad I’ve had a re-think on that.

This was basically a casual outfit for one of my “theatre days” at work during my O and G posting(which basically requires minimal effort when dressing as I’ll be changing into scrubs all day long) but later in the day, I headed out to the movies and topped off my look with this hat I got from the blogger point brunch for an instantly cooler look.

And of course, Merry Christmas! I’m spending mine indoors trying to heal and stuff so it’s not exactly the best Christmas I’ve had but I’m super thankful regardless. How’s this Christmas treating you?
