BECAUSE SHARING IS CARING.
I’m just popping in real quick to share some of the sites/blogs that have been helpful to me – in terms of blogging, branding and just generally broadening my scope of things.
I love to see people be the best version they can be and especially for bloggers with their blog. That was why I created the blog planner and why I’m always passionate about helping people figure out/ get started with blogging.
I mentioned in this post how last year found me keying into and reading quite a number of “big blogs” that steady dish out tips and “how to’s”.
Its easy to get sucked into what they preach and lose yourself in the process. That’s why even though I’m recommending them to you now, I’m doing so with an advice to remember to take what applies to you and stay true to yourself regardless.
1. ITSPINKPOT.
I’m one of those people that would click on any link as long as I’m less busy and that’s how I discovered Chiara – from a blogger’s website she designed.
She dishes tips majorly on photography and design/branding (both very applicable to bloggers) in a very practical and easy to understand way. She also makes and sells blog themes on her etsy, in case you’re looking to upgrade your theme.
2. I CAN BUILD A BLOG.
I discovered this one the other other night and I’m especially thankful for their wealth of ‘html cheatsheet’ posts to help your blog look better. All those little extras like changing fonts for your blog, colour coding etc – they’ve got you covered.
3. ELLE & CO.
Elle and Co is a design, blogging,
and business resource for creative
entrepreneurs. They create weekly posts on blogging, branding and design as well.
4. THE NECTAR COLLECTIVE.
Though I’m not particularly fond of her plenty plenty income reports but Melissa gives some stellar blogging advice.
5. BY REGINA.
I love this one and I’ve found more than a few of her helpful.
I especially love this lighthearted but extremely deep post where she shared some lessons she got from some of Drake’s lyrics.
6. CANVA.
This one isn’t a blog but an online graphic design and photo editing tool which just makes putting together great graphics for your blog so much easier. I only wish it had an App as well.

Thanks Cassie! Found this post extremely helpful seeing as I'm a young blogger. Keep it up π
HI Cassie. I found this post extremely helpful. Thank you so much.
Canva has no grids, rulers, or other alignment tools, not such a friendly interface; some elements hard to detect, canβt use your own fonts and it seems a little buggy for me..http://besthdrsoftwaremac.com/ such desktop editors are better
Hi Cassie,
Thank you for sharing this. It's always great when one learns new techniques to improve their blogging.
