I’ve been meaning to write about this since last year when a friend used that line in a conversation we were having but somehow I just kept on pushing it away but today is my personal 1st Timothy 3 man’s birthday and I can’t help but be thankful for this awesome man and all the wisdom, growth and amazing lessons I’ve learnt from him.
One of which is : No! All men are not the same! We girls just need to do better really because we can’t keep doing the same things and expecting change.
What exactly are the things you look out for in a man?
If you had asked me two years ago, I probably would have given the same nondescript reply of “anyone that can make me happy” but I found out first hand that even that isn’t enough.
Warsan Shire couldn’t have put it better up there really. We have to re-evaluate the quality of guys we are holding it down with Tbh.
In case you’re wondering what I meant by ” 1st Timothy 3 Man”, that’s the reply I’ll give you now if you should ask me that same question.

Cassie ehn, truth be told if I were to give my one cents on this matter I will type up and entire post. I want to categorically state that all men are the same *being that they are men, they look like men,talk like men and do what men do* but when it comes down to it just like women too people churn out different content, have their flaws and shortcomings then I do belive that men are different based on content. That quote is everything. The quality of men you allow into your life depends on how your idea of relationships will be. But truly if I must say I love that we have bad experiences sometimes because if you don't know the taste of bitterleaf, how will you ever learn to savor chocolate.
I just ask God to close the door between us if we're wrong for each other and keep it open if we're meant to be when Praying!

Men are not all the same, I believe it is only God that brings the good ones.
I don't believe all men are the same…but the number of guys that behave similar to each other is alarming, this can easily make girls assume. But there are some really amazing guys out there. We just have to thank God continuously for the rare gems in our lives.
I totally agree I don't think all guys are the same. One thing I had to learn is not blame the next man for the previous one's mishaps. I always give someone a fresh pallet. HOWEVER, I take the previous mishaps as a learning tool and look for sings in a new person.
All boys, maybe. That doesn't necessarily mean a certain age, as I know it took me a long time to grow up. If a man truly has Christ at the center of his life, he'll treat a lady properly.
Lovely post! I totally agree with you Cassandra. We ladies need to reevaluate the kind of men we allow into our space, and one of the greatest ways to do that is to be extremely stingy with our time! Let the man earn your time! So, yes! Men are to some degree all the same, but they are also worlds apart.
