Sneaking in a quick beauty post because I just love sharing my good finds with you all and because I’m currently in love! With nude lipsticks that is. Thanks to this miss rose tube that I found in my mum’s make up bag and promptly stole acquired to try out.
My love affair with coloured lipsticks is no news, especially bright reds, purples and bold lip colours, though I am yet to embrace pink still.
I’m an all or none type of girl when it comes to wearing lipstick so that on days I don’t feel up to using lipstick, I don’t bother and just go plain but I have recently taken to applying this nude lipstick instead and I’m loving it!

Well, I decided to slap some of the lipstick on my little sister and turn my lens on her instead because every attempt to get her to take a decent picture of me wearing the lipstick failed. Don’t you just hate when other people can’t get a decent non blurry shot of you? Uggh!
I did some googling and realized that miss rose cosmetic products aren’t really so popular, though I think its a brand I’ve come across before because the name sounds oddly familiar.
Anyways, this one is their nude in color R59 and though its not matte, its also pretty long lasting and the application is real easy and goes on smoothly.
My mum can’t remember how much she got it for but she thinks its either 300 or 400Naira (Cheap yeah!) and she picked it up at a random supermarket but I’m sure you can also find this in the market.
Before I call it a day, I’ve got questions though!
Very subtle nude and it completes her tone . Rimmel London and Revelon also do some really affordable nude shapes if u ever have a chance to try them.

I love Miss rose lipsticks, I've been using it for a long time. Recently Got the nude one too and it has been my go to. I've tried the nyx one before and it was nice.
I'm a dark lippie girl, dark purple /red …some people have conquered the black lippie look still on the fence for that.

I recently got a Miss Rose lipstick in Purple colour. It's matte. And I love it! I got it for 500 in a cosmetic shop.
I am not really a fan of nude lipstick don't even own one, tho I've used a friend's once or twice.
My go to lip colour is red. There is just something catchy about it. I love dark lip sticks but am still skeptical about trying some shades.

Yes to nudes…..i am currently obsessed with Jordana matte nude lipstick, also perfect for creating a subtle ombre by lining your lip with brown,pink or purple lip liner

My fave lippie atm is Miss Rose in dark red which I obtained from my mum.. Love Love It! She got for 400naira and its matte.. I use pink,purple and nude too. I'm a bit skeptical about black lippies
Nudes are not really my thing i prefer to have on a bold lip I feel so much better. But I have a couple of miss rose lipsticks and I found one of their nude (not this one cause it comes with a different packaging) that's amazing was going to acquire it from my friend but she caught me so I'm on the hunt for it.

Miss Rose!!!! I love it, I've got Different colors. And it's also good as a base. I have some MAC nudes that are not matte, so i use the Miss rose matte first before applying my MAC it gives it this nice feel. Nude is the new Black
I love miss rose products, especially their purple lippy. I am in that phase too- using nude instead of going bare. I have used this lipstick and I like it. your sis is cute btw.

Hearing about Miss Rose for the first time. I only started wearing nude lippies this year. I have the MAC Fabby (which is nice but I think would be nicer on someone lighter). I also got the Make Up Academy lippie in Fawn Fancy. It's really similar to MAC's Velvet Teddy. I wear the Fawn Fancy with my Cappuccino lip liner from Zaron. My friend recently got Zaron's Butterscotch and it's a very pretty nude too. Question- is Miss Rose long wear? How many hours does it last on average?
This is a nice shade but I don't wear Miss Rose lipsticks anymore.
They have different collections and each come with different packaging that it's so hard to keep up.
I got nude, purple, red and pink lipsticks from them but they all didn't apply properly, they were just breaking and were just a mess really. I had to throw them away.
In my opinion it's either they make good lipsticks but someone is making the fakes which these mallams sell or they make low quality lipsticks.
I currently use L.A Girl Luxury Creme Lipstick in Amour which I bought from shop.zlanche on IG, it is a nice nude lipstick for my skin tone and it is a creamy lipstick but dries flaky-matte on my lips (I think there's something wrong in the formulation of this particular one).
I love trying out cheap lipsticks but you pay in the end for low quality.
