Imagine a fun night out with your favorite girls. Now, add good food, poetry for the soul, vibing with other equally cool ladies and gift bags to the mix!
It started out as a thought that lingered just long enough to grab me by the neck demanding my attention.
The thought/idea was simple enough – A Galentine’s day with a few of my online family. An evening to just laugh, share, stuff our faces, exchange gifts and most importantly leave with our hearts full and a new network of amazing women.
The plan was also relatively simple – Put it out on my instastory, find out who is interested in hanging out and make it happen. But because I wouldn’t be Cassie Daves, if I don’t take relatively simple things and make them better in a creative way.
I decided to team up with one of my fave girls, who is also a big source of inspiration to me with how she has been able to make a name for herself as one of the top five make up artists in Nigeria – Laila Rahman of Leylarh Cadne, to create an even better experience for you.
This has consumed the better part of my days for the past two weeks, so you can imagine how excited I am to finally put it out here.
Join Award winning Nigerian blogger Cassie Daves (That’s Me! haha) and REVLON makeup artist for Nigeria –Leylarh Cadne for a Galentine’s Day evening – an intimate and unique experience with an aim to celebrate self-love, self-care while having fun in the process. The plus? We get to meet you all!
It is going to be a fun evening of feasting, games, spoken word, sharing knowledge and experiences, and of course networking. There will be goodie bags sponsored by (Ciciglam, Cocoshe organics, ziahartistry, and a host of others) to go home with, exchange of gifts, beauty talk/tips from Leylarh and Q&A sessions.
The Details.
It was love at first sight for us with the venue. We found the perfect location with the perfect aesthetics to get you in that cozy mood. The event will be at The Orchid Bistro Restaurant located at 58a Isaac John Street, in Ikeja from 3 pm – 7 pm.
We want to keep it as intimate as possible, so, unfortunately, we can only open this up to 15 people.
