Weekend Bits || Iro Lagos Launch x Bloggers Brunch.

Long time, no weekend bits post ey?
That’s because I haven’t really been up to much these past few weekends but this weekend was a bit lit. I experienced event hopping like never before (granted I went for just three events in a day but that’s a first for me – I think ).
So what did I get up to this weekend?
Please forgive the poor picture quality, God knows the struggle I went through uploading these with my phone and writing this post *sigh*

SATURDAY – Lagos Bloggers Brunch x Hans and Rene.
Unoma.
Lize came with her polaroid camera

I planned to attend the bloggers brunch and later changed my mind due to some personal reasons but Wumi made me go and even went the extra mile of paying for me so I didn’t really have a choice. Thanks girl!
I’m glad i went because that goodie bag I got from zaron is not the type that someone should miss – even though I won’t use half of the things. Lol and I finally met Unoma of vievebutterfly. Hiii! Oh and Berry was there too :$

I left before it was over and went to Hans and rene (I did a review of them previously here) , finally got to try their agbalumo and zobo sorbet which I think is true to the real thing. No scam here. You can taste the spicy zobo taste in the zobo sorbet and the same goes for the agbalumo own.

SUNDAY – Iro Lagos Launch x Paradise Med Spa launch x Vlisco Christmas party

On sunday, I went for the Iro lagos event with my friend Banke.
Iro Lagos is a womenswear brand that deals in trendy ‘iro and buba’ pieces, you can check them out here.

The event was already in full swing when we arrived and I met with the owner of the brand and Bukky Karibi-whyte of the Bobby Taylor company.
There were lots to eat and drink, I had a waffle for the first time *covers face*
They had models around displaying some of the pieces and a set up inside for people who wanted to shop.
I don’t think I’ve ever worn an iro and buba and I saw a few pieces I wouldn’t mind owning. They had different segments with different price ranges – 10k – 15k, and 15k upwards too.

I bumped into Deola of omogemura at the event and we hopped into her car and followed her to the other events she had lined up.
We went to the paradise spa launch, although I didn’t take any pictures there because it had barely started when we got there and it still looked the same when we left.
We went to the vlisco christmas party afterwards. The finger food was just flowing in abundance here.
The event started a bit late though and if you read this post, you know how my parents feel about me staying out late *sigh* so I had to leave when the giveaways were in progress.

All in all, I think I had a pretty decent time this past weekend.
Not everytime sit at home, sometimes event hop and experience Lagos weekends.

What did you get up to this weekend?
I’ll love to know!
