Don’t I just look like a boy? I think I’ll have made a really fine one though but I digress.
I’ve realized that I unconsciously push out some of my daily casual looks as not fit for the blog when in actual sense, that’s how you’ll most likely find me on a normal day – Denim pants/print shirts, harem pants and general basic stuff.
In life generally, I feel there’s this need to show only the ‘Slayage’ moments especially on social media.
I also think there are two types of people in this world : The ones who slay on a regular – whether just dressing to walk around school (e.g Akin Faminu. Hollaa) and people like me who slay only when we feel the occasion demands it. (ICYMI : I did a style collaboration with

Sometimes, I worry that this attitude might get me stuck in a style rut because I never really challenge myself to try on more of my clothes and just reach for the first thing I lay my hands on or repeat what I’ve worn previously but then my days are currently a blur of each other and with nowhere really to go to so I guess its allowed.
This is just one example of a typical casual day look. Sometimes, I try to spice up the look by wearing a statement piece – in this case my shoes.
I remember meeting someone I know from a brand I’ve sort of worked with one day around ozone cinemas, I had just decided to pop into my ‘catwalk class’ venue (which is located just beside ozone) and was wearing the outfit in this post but with a plain black tee instead and she told me ‘you’re looking pretty lowkey today”
Lol. I look pretty lowkey on a normal day fam although I’m not even sure what she meant.
This shirt was a key piece in my capsule wardrobe setup and I’ve styled it here and here already.
I think I wore this to pop into school once, also for a casual meeting and I intended to wear it yesterday as well but I didn’t find my belt. Lol

Lol I like the way you classified the types of people. I like to dress up so I think my everyday style always has something extra. I'm not really a jean and top girl although sometimes that works pretty well but I always find myself dressing up most days. I think even your casual style counts as Slayage jor. That shoe though Cassie! Pity we're not the same size and yes I'm coveting again 🙈
I agree with Berry, your casual style slays, I believe it has a lot to do with the shirt as printed shirts are always so eye catching. I'd say my blog outfits don't necessarily reflect my everyday wear as I only wear heels on Sunday's but for my day to day looks, I just rock my blog outfits with flats, I no get time for stress abeg.
