Quarantine 2020 has been nothing short of an ordeal, but I think it’s also safe to say that the quarantine period helped unlock a new level of creativity in a lot of us. It is one positive that I never fail to reference whenever I’m trying to encourage myself about this season.

I have spent endless hours scrolling on the gram, consuming great content after great content from some of the Nigerian content creators that I follow, and it has been quite inspiring.

Today, I thought to share and highlight some of these Nigerian content creators with you guys.

Let’s dig in

1. Wendy Maks

Wendy Mak is one of the content creators I discovered/started following during the quarantine period. Yesterday, I went through her page and one thing that kept ringing at the back of my mind is “How come it took me this long to discover this page” ?

There’s just something about her that endears me to her – I love how real she seems, and her style reminds me of myself: easy, yet stylish.

2. Ijenna Osuji

Ijenna is a creative genius – this is one fact that’s a constant for her. I’ve followed her for years now, and I never fail to be in awe of her content. It’s not “trying too hard”, it’s easy to see how naturally it all flows from her.

How she manages to turn every picture she takes into something artsy and creative is a skill I’ll pay to have.

3. Victory Ejidyke

When I came across this page recently, I couldn’t help but be impressed with how she managed to nail every single one of her “home shoots”. Her page aesthetics is super cool, and her style will definitely give you life.

4. SiainStyle

When it comes to content that is both simple and inspiring at the same time, Ifeoma Amadi’s always delivers. She creates magic from the most basic things, and it has been a pleasure experiencing all the magic she has created this period.

5. Dose of Dots

Dotun Abeshinbioke creates some of the most beautiful set designs, and it’s amazing to watch how she infuses creativity in everything she does. If you’re looking for set design inspirations for your “home shoots”, her page is a good place to start.

6. ThisThingCalledFashion

Nonye’s content has always been dope, but this quarantine period she unveiled another level of content that I absolutely love. From creative style videos, to themed shoots, you’ll definitely enjoy her page.

7. Hafymo

When you think conservative fashion that is still super chic and stylish, think ” Hafymo” . Her style is a breath of fresh air and this extends to her feed, photography and videography as well.

And of course, I have to plug myself here. Please follow my gram and let’s be friends over there!

I have a ton of faves but these are just a few of them. I’ll share more in another blog post.
