Outfit || LFDW Finale : Skater Girl

For the final day of the lagos fashion design week, i got to wear a dress from Nigerian designer “CHECHI ARINZE. I was immediately drawn to this batik print skater gown. Okay maybe not “immediately but as soon as i had it on, i fell in love with it.

I love the simplicity of the dress and how the print makes it stand out (i got lots of people asking me if it was ankara or tie and dye), i love how it fits snuggly around my waist and how its just the right length (not too short but short enough for me to flaunt my legs ), I love the detail around the hand.

I decided to pair it with a fedora hat to add a little bit of “Me” to the look and these wedge shoes that has basically been under my bed for ages now (okay, i’m exaggerating but you get)
I don’t think these pictures do justice to the gown but i really couldn’t take much pictures

Oh look who has makeup on this time (even if its just my signature red lips and penciled eyes)

Picture Credit: Chyder5. I wish he i could get him to take all my blog pictures but too bad i have to go back to begging my classmate “saga” to help me out. See how chyder5’s photography gave life to my blog sha *sigh*

Thanks for all the comments in my previous post! That sort of feedback keeps me going.
Thanks guys!!
What do you all think of this look? I’m not exactly a “dress” person but i know that i’ll have to embrace gowns pretty soon when i have all em glam events to attend and all (which i see coming my way pretty soon 😐 )
