Outfit || Five Tips For Dressing On A Lazy Day

These past two weeks have been a bit slow school-wise due to the doctors strike and that amongst other things mean I can get to lose the smart dressing for a while which is good news to me because I’m really a lazy dresser. Most days I just want to throw on a tee and denim pants and head out but here’s the thing about being a “fashion person”β€” its a bit hard to turn off the impulse to infuse a little bit of style to an outfit even if you wanted to! ( I guess this fact already rules out every claim I have to being normcore“). Although this also gets tiring sometimes and I damn it all and dress very random. Lol
This is an outfit sometime last month (I think), Ididn’t have much to do except pop into school to handle hostel matter – Yup! It was a lazy day.

Tip 1 : Think Comfort!  It should be something real easy to wear and comfortable. That’s why my harem pants does it for me! Easy to wear *check*, comfort level -100 *check*  . Statement/graphic tees, oversized tops/danshikis and of course good ol’ boyfriend jeans are great selections for a lazy day.
Here I’m wearing a graphic muscle tee that i got from my lovely roommate.

Tip 2 : Wear a Hat! You can pull on a fedora or wide brimmed hat. They never fail to add spice to an outfit, and especially saves you time and energy fussing over your hair. I’m wearing my wine red eze cap, I styled the black in this post and I did an inspiration post on it too

Tip 3 : Flats! But of course right?  Mine is pretty boring but there are so many quirky flats these days that can also add spice to your outfit. (Think oxfords, sporty slipons, ankle strap flats even birkenstocks)

Tip 4 : Shade on!  This might also just be an excuse to let your face breath. A pair of sunglasses and bold lips and you’re good to go!

Tip 5 : Bag It! I love crossbody bags, i think they have a way of making an outfit look not to serious. Tote bags are also good for a lazy day

So there we have it, my five tips for lazy day dressing that can also be applied for weekends. What’s your go to piece of clothing on lazy days?
