A Mini Style Story – What I Wore To Sao And The Muse 3

For someone with an awful memory, I remember the day of the Sao and the muse 3 event clearly.

I remember combing through my wardrobe last minute (as always) wondering what miracle I could conjure in finding what to wear with my shiny new denim pink shirt I got from fashion store, shopenkay store earlier in the week.

I remember the exact moment I realized that this green mini skirt (styled previously here), face cap and my pink Lucy.daves mules combination was a winner. Even if it took several “YES it works” comments from my sister.

I remember walking into the Sao and the muse event later on feeling pretty fly with myself.  Like I had done a cool thing with my outfit. After all, the face cap and heels combination isn’t exactly the lowest risk combination to pull off. It could have easily gone wrong but here I was rocking the hell out of it.

I remember walking around admiring the art-works on display, giving side hugs and air kisses feeling slightly uncomfortable and an acute awareness of the fact that my shirt was all scrunched up tucked into my skirt giving me the appearance of an early baby bump.

Looking at the pictures, later on, I knew it was going to grace the blog someday. I could have easily talked solely about the outfit in my usual style post manner but all that backstory is just to say this.

When I think back to the night of the Sao and the muse 3 opening, I don’t remember much about the art or the people (except this fine ass man my eyes somehow kept following around) but I would always remember that I wore this cool cat outfit that was true to my style and that I carried myself with confidence regardless of how I was truly feeling inside.
