Let me start by saying: I apologize for the delay. My review of the Lavyanna skin naturals products has been a long time coming. I’ve had people DM me to ask when I’d blog about it. The wait is finally over.
Now that’s out of the way, let’s get into it.
I’ve never had major issues with my skin and I’m one of those fortunate to have “problem free skin” but the one thing that had me poring over skincare routines and obsessing over skin care products was my uneven skin tone. You know when your body and legs are obviously team-light skinned but you’re still unsure if your face can qualify as caramel or brown-skinned? That!
I know a lot of people can relate to this because our Nigerian sun wrecks major damage, and uneven skin tone is one of the main complaints I hear on the regular asides from Acne.
After trying a couple of things here and there – including those “black soap” that claimed to be natural but were really mixed with chemicals (kmt!), I finally stumbled on the one game changer that has helped even out and maintain my skin tone.
What is it?
The Vitamin C Face Serum.
I’ve talked about it, I’ve done videos (okay maybe just a video) about it but the goodness of Vitamin C on the skin has to be written about too.
I randomly decided to give the vitamin C face serum a try after attending a beauty launch event in June. It helped that I also got a free serum sample at the event too. This is how my journey with Vit C started and since then, I haven’t looked back.
I’ve used Vitamin C face serum (along with other Vitamin C skincare containing products) for about 5 months now and I can definitely see an improvement in my skin. Scars fade faster, my skin tone is more even and generally, life is better skincare wise. lol!

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that stimulates collagen production and helps the skin by repairing the damage done by free radicals and the sun.
I currently use Vitamin C serum from Lavyanna skin naturals and I absolutely love this product! I’ve used Vitamin C serums from two other brands and this has been my fave because it goes into the skin well and doesn’t make my face feel so sticky afterward.

I got this product after the recommendation of a friend and I shared my first impression of it in this post. It’s been almost a year now of using this and it is my favorite product from the Lavyanna brand. I love love this moisturizer!
I love it so much that I use it majorly on my face to extend it’s lifespan lol! It blends into my skin easily, is not greasy at all and my best part is that it contains 2 of my key essentials for glowing skin – Vitamin C and SPF (sunscreen).
Lavyanna 25% Vitamin C Face Cream (advanced formula with retinol and ferulic acid)
This is another Vit C product from Lavyanna and was specifically made as a face cream. I’m not the biggest fan of this product (and how it smells) and I don’t use it as often as I probably should.
I use this on my face mostly at night as it isn’t greasy and absorbs well. I’m not consistent with this, so I can’t say with certainty if it has improved my skin but I like to believe that the Vit C in it is working together with my serum and moisturizer for my good.
Lavyanna Naturals Face Scrub And Exfoliating Face Wash.
These two were actually the very first Lavyanna skin naturals product I used. I got the face wash in a beauty box by Coco here.
The face wash is a gentle cleanser and works just fine if you have no skin issues that you’re trying to treat or fend off – like acne. I’m not particularly excited about the face wash but I love the smell, it lathers just fine and I haven’t had any issues or reactions using it.
The face scrub, on the other hand, has been pretty good to me. It is not harsh on the skin – the particle size is small and not coarse so it get’s the job done without being too abrasive. I’d definitely recommend this.

Lavyanna Mineral Black Mud Face Mask.
I’ve included weekly “face masking” to my skin care routine and this is my current go-to. It is super easy to use and leaves my skin feeling soft, supple and nourished afterwards.
Here’s what I think after using the Lavyanna Skincare Products! Click To TweetThese products I just reviewed are from the Lavyanna skin naturals super skin detox range and that’s why they all contain Vitamin C but Lavyanna also has a wide range of products created to suit other skincare needs like acne. Thanks for sharing this Cassie. I recently went on google to check out must have products in your facial routine box and I started stalking you (again) and saw this post. I will give this brand a try and hopefully, it will bring so much life to my skin.
Is there like a store in Nigeria I can buy this or do I have to order online?
I’m tired of hearing Vitamin C serum everywhere without having tried it out.
Hoping to get some The Ordinary Products or L’Avyanna including their Vitamin C serum because my skin truly needs help.
Love the pictures in this post!
Well done Cassie.
Many tines bloggers hype products that haven’t truly used but I kinda like how sincerely you’ve written about your experience with the products. My skin problem is uneven skin tone.. I know I’ve been wanting to give this products a try for a while and even asked you once about it but hehehe wasn’t sure…this review is the propeller I needed…gonna try the vitamin c and moisturizer…I really hope it works for me…thanks for putting up the review..and happy birthday again sweetheart
I’m happy I stumbled on this. My face is going through a rough time. Will try the serum and lotion. Maybe the scrub too. Thank you!
What review to you have for the 7days blemish control? Have you used it?
Hello no I haven’t used it so unfortunately can’t say much about it’s effectively
Hi! I’m interested in getting the vit c moisturising lotion but I have no idea on where and how it is. Could you let me know?
Hello!!! I’ve been using the L’Avyanna sunscreen for about 3 weeks now though it’s with some other natural products I got from my skin therapist, but I noticed I’m getting darker instead of being lighter because I’m actually light skinned. So I really don’t know what the problem is, I don’t know if I should stop everything or I should just give it more time, probably it’s still too early for me to see improvement. I’m actually using the products for sun burn and uneven skin tone. What do you think I should do Cassie? Well done dear!!!
I’d like to know how long it takes for each product to work especially the face scrub
All long does it take to get the job down on your face like dead skin peeling off and acne
