St.Genevieve x Jumia Re-Launch

Hey Guys!
So I got invited to the St.Genevieve x Jumia Re-launch which took place yesterday at the Social place in V.I. Now, i kind of get invited to events and most times I make all the plans to go and even plan outfits only to end up sitting my ass back at home because i couldn’t find a plus one to go with, so this time around I was really determined to make it not only because I definitely need to start socializing more (with or without a plus one) but because It sounded like a really cool event and I was pleasantly surprised to get an invitation . #BloggerBenefits. haha
I was a bit confused when I got to the venue but I soon got into the vibe of things, spotted some people i knew, said my Hello’s, took red carpet and of course outfit pictures then occupied myself with the cocktails and finger foods that seemed to be flowing endlessly (Any event with item 7 is a yessss for me!!)
I was so happy to see fellow blogger Mide Coker walk into the event and i spent the rest of the event with her. I didn’t take so much pictures of people at the event firstly because the waka and all the other gymnastics photographers do isn’t for a girl on heels and then ain’t nobody gat time for these Lagos socialites and their attitude . There were lots of them at the event though but I think the really stylish ones came later at night and I was already off by then.

Lola Maja is such a sweetheart! Like I can’t even fault this woman. Mentioned her in this post
Sharon Ojong
I love the mixed prints!
Genevieve Nnaji finally arrived and we all headed inside to view the collection. She gave a speech but even though I wasn’t exactly listening, Mide told me she mentioned that the price range is between 4-10k and they had everything from shirts to shoes. I actually like the collection although I didn’t see anything I can’t live without but they are all wearable everyday clothes and not the normal efizzy of some designers.

Took some photobooth selfies with Mide! haha
I had a nice time all in all, thanks for having me Jumia.
I have quite a backlog of posts but I should put up a post of what i wore to the event soon and also that of the african film festival event i attended last week.
Sooo, watch this space and stay woke!
P.S – Big shout out to “Toinlicious”, I’ve been seeing all your comments. Thank You!!!
Meanwhile, how has the holidays been treating you?
