Outfit || Summer Style x Bejewelled Bud.

Hey Guys!!!
Long time no see!
I’ve missed this space of mine and all of you!
If you read my last post, then you’d know that I’m currently away on some sort of mini-vacation. I’ll talk more about how that’s going and life lately in my monthly recap post soon. If you’re signed up to my mailing list though (Sign up here yo!), you should already know a bit of what’s been going on with me recently and why I haven’t blogged since last week ( Yes, that seems like forever to me! lol)
Anyways, I’m back here now and what better way to get back to the groove of things than a style post? Actually a life update post would have been more appropriate but I really wanted to share these pictures I took the other day. haha!

I’m teaming up with another blogger for this “summer style” post – it’s almost always summer in Nigeria so I think it works also.

I’m back again with the “Off shoulder” Styling, though this isn’t meant to be part of the “Three ways to style” series – see first post here, I got this top as a gift from a blogger friend – Wonderful who happens to also have fashion label @nabuafashion,  and I just couldn’t wait to style it!
I packed it along with me because I just knew it was going to come in handy especially with it being Summer over here now. Its always summer in Nigeria though, so mastering this dressing for the heat thing isn’t new. lol
I decided to pair it with my black double slit midi skirt from this post and finish the look with a choker and easy sandals.  I really like this look, especially because I haven’t worn this skirt in ages – and it fit right in and totally completed the outfit.

What do you guys think of the look?

After lots of days indoors, I finally got to meet up with Anjola of Bejewelled Bud. We initially planned to hook up and relieve each other of some boredom, but we decided to also seize the opportunity to do what bloggers do best – take pictures! We decided to work with a “summer style” outfit and you can check out her full look on her blog Here.

I had a fun time with her and it helped that she was the bubbly type, so I didn’t have the chance to turn it into an awkward meeting – somehow I’m good with doing that. lol.
We went down to the lake in my neighborhood and took these dope shots with her camera, I love the scenery so so much! Afterwards, we went to the mall and came back home to watch  you tube videos and chill. She taught me to use this snapchat of a thing and maybe soon, I’ll start putting out stuff. I’m on snapchat @cassiedaves, though there’s currently nothing on there.

Its actually pretty cool meeting online people offline – awkwardness asides. So yesssss, any ATL (Atlanta) based bloggerss here? Let’s hook up yo!!

I’ve been working on finalizing my new offer and I can’t wait to share that with you guys! Here’s a hint – It’s something to help you blog better.

I hope you had a great week and your weekend is going great?
I should probably do a weekend bits post, would you like to read that?
Please leave me your thoughts and comments on the look and let’s connect!
