I know, I know.
You’re probably already getting tired of seeing the word “off shoulder” and anything that has to do with the trend now. Please bear with me a little longer – it will be all over soon. (Maybe)
I promised a ‘three ways to style post” featuring my rococo off shoulder top and its only ideal that I actually deliver. My first way was the casual edit in this post, so of course the second look had to be a bit more “dressed up” than the first.
You might remember this look already from my guardian life feature here. Did you really think I’d waste a perfectly good outfit post? Though I still haven’t had the chance to wear this look out (and I doubt I ever will), I decided to switch the colour blocked heels I wore for the shoot for this white one instead and I changed the scarf to go with it as well.

I like how I now embrace pops of colours in my outfits, because once upon a time, I wouldn’t have imagined being decked out in bright colours from head to toe. That’s the beauty of growth and change, over time you embrace new things you never thought you’d ever try – I mentioned this in my last post on my style journey here.
This skirt will be making quite a bit of an appearance here and I thought to just warn you before hand. Lol. Its one of the key components of my new capsule wardrobe I drafted before I travelled. Not sure what a capsule wardrobe is? I blogged all about that and how it helps you maximize your wardrobe HERE.
I got the skirt off Desola during the first edition of the nigerian fashion bloggers yard sale and it has fast become one of my faves. That’s why I’m super pumped about the next edition coming up on the 24th of this month. Follow @nfbyardsale on instagram to get in the know!
My hair looks a mess in this post because the wind kept pushing it around, but regardless I’m still not so convinced that this particular pixie cut was werking for me. I digress anyways.
What do you guys think of this look? And what’s your current feels on the “Off Shoulder trend”. Are you tired of it already, never liked it or you’re still totally digging it?
Share please and let’s connect!
P.S – Thank you all so much for your feedback and helpful/encouraging comments on my last post about my current insomnia phase. I really appreciate it! (Typing this at 2 A.M now though. haha)

Why haven't you? Not sure about it yet? Thank you!
I'm like the "lastma" in this off shoulder trend. And the gravitational force from you "slayers of any outfit" isn't helping. I wanna hop on and I hope I slay like you too.
Beautifully June
lool! You can still hop on oh, it doesn't look like this trend is going anywhere anytime soon. Thanks June!
You look great. I wasn't a fan of the off shoulder trend because I used to think it was only suitable for girls with bigger boobs.lol, one of my insecurities but I'm more enlighten now and I'm definitely a huge fan of the trend
Thank you Praise!! Nah, its not for people with big boobs. I mean, look at me nah. lol
It hasn't gotten tiring yet.. And seeing you rock it so nicely only makes the trend better
^_^
Thank you Chakiee!
Wow! I love every singly thing about that top, and you have styled it perfectly.

To be honest, I'm kinda getting tired of the off shoulder trend but in my recent trip to Lagos, that was practically all I wore. Maybe I should even do a post on that! Lol.
Lol @ finding a place to wear it to. That's one major issue I have! Buying pretty nice stuff but no where to go!

I think I'm slowly getting tired of the trend but I do think you rocked it. I love the colour blocking and the pop of print from the scarf. I honestly do prefer how you styled this outfit in the guardian shoot with the colour block heels, and with the other scarf. And I do agree with you, this particular pixie cut does not suit you as such.

I like the off-shoulder trend. except that as a 'breastina' i can't always get away with it. It takes alot of work keeping these girls up without a strap. Lol
