Happy International Womens Day!

How fitting is it that International women’s day fell on a Wednesday? Just perfect for today’s post which is all about some of the women who inspire me. Although, this post wasn’t exactly inspired by International women’s day. I only just found out this morning what March 8th signifies, but it gave me the extra push I needed to finally complete this post. It’s been in my drafts for a while now and I figured I could tie both together – celebrate these five amazing women while sharing a few of my favorite online ladies as well!

I’ve had one WCW post on the blog previously and you can read up on that here but while that was featuring people I happen to know personally and already have some sort of relationship with, this is strictly fangirling and a bit of a “style crush” post as well. I’ll also be announcing the Lucy. Dave’s giveaway winners at the end of this post so stay with me!

Let’s dig in.

Shope Delano || @shopedelano

International Women’s Day- Female blogger Shope Delano
International Women’s Day- Amazing Female Blogger Shope Delano
International Women’s Day- Amazing Female Blogger and Asos girl Shope Delano

Uber cool kid Shope. She is a blogger over at shopedelano.com and I’ve loved her right from back when she was running the blog “London’s Closet” with her twin. She’s also the founder of twoosie – a pop up fashion store for two piece sets.

La’Tonya Yvette || @Latonyayvette

International Women’s Day- Amazing Female Blogger and fab mama Latonya Yvette
International Women’s Day- Amazing Female Blogger and entrepreneur Latonya Yvette
International Women’s Day- Amazing Female Blogger, stylist Latonya Yvette

Mama of two, lifestyle blogger over at latonyayvette.com, creative consultant and stylist. There’s just something about her that endears me to her – I think it’s a mix of her awesome writing style, style and super cute family. Whatever it is, I always love seeing her pop up on my bloglovin and instagram feed.

Asiyami Gold || @Asiyamigold

International Women’s Day- Amazing Female Blogger Asiyami Gold

Asiyami is a designer and photographer. Her visuals are goals really and that’s the major attraction for me. I love love what she does and how she manages to find beauty in odd places.

Yagazie Emezi || @yagazieemezi

Yagazie Emezi is a documentary photographer and visual curator. I‘ve loved her long time and I still have a post all about my love for her in my drafts from 2013 which would be too awkward for me to publish now. Lol. Her style, creative eye and realness are just a few of the things I love about her.

Paola Mathe || @findingpaola.

If you’ve been reading this blog from the get go, then you’d already know of my love for Paola. I’ve interviewed her once for my style feature here and she has influenced a few of my style choices/posts like my turban love in this post and this
I have a serious love for her which is renewed every time I go through her instagram feed or blog. Paola blogs at findingpaola.com and she’s also the founder of Fanmdjanm – a headwrap brand.

If this aint love, I don’t know what it is.

Going over this post again and I feel like I should have just titled this “style crush” because they be killing it in that department.
You might have already noticed this but the one thing these women have in common? Amazing style that’s unique to them and a beautiful creative mind – emphasis on creative! They’ve been able to go for their dreams, live it and follow an unconventional path. I feel like I can see myself in them – their aesthetic and style are right up my alley and it makes them super relatable for me.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed sharing my faves with you. Oh and happy international women’s day once again! Keep shining.

Who are some of your female online faves? Or female faves in general and why? They don’t have to be bloggers or celebrities. Mention them in the comment.

Actually, no I don’t and my screws are still wound in tightly. Lol. I wrote this and was ready to publish in the 8th but internet issues held me back and reediting it was out of the plan. Please forgive the discrepancy.
