April Notes And Recap.

HAPPY NEW MONTH!
Better late than never right?

I was going to do this month’s recap in a “taking stock” format because I felt April was just another month that went by without me achieving my set goals, so I didn’t really see the need to do this if I wasn’t reporting any major progress.
But in the spirit of celebrating every minor accomplishment though, I decided to just do it the normal way – sharing a few things in April, what I’m thankful for and lessons I learnt.

“Read January, February and March Notes.”

**********

– I got my first actual blog award this month!!!!! I mean a physical award and not the blog tags I usually get awarded with. I haven’t gotten it yet because I couldn’t make the event, but once its in my hands, best believe I’m doing a full post on that.

– I am way closer to organizing the chaos that’s in my head and this time its for real. I’ll be launching my blog services soon and this month served for major brainstorming and work.

– I finally got around to going to the dentist to complete my root canal therapy. It didn’t hurt as much as I expected.

– I read about six books this month, way more than I read the previous months (which was zero anyways). Its been so good just losing myself in a book once again, I almost forgot what it felt like for a minute there. Please send me books to read if you have (sandyva06@yahoo.com). Thank you!

– I got a bit confused about this whole love thing, but I’m working out the kinks (I think)

– I somehow managed to shoot just one outfit this month and it sucked major! Finding photographers is slowly becoming a problem in my life yet again.

I spent the major part of April indoors and it started getting to me at some point because I wasn’t getting any creative bursts, but in the midst of all that that I re learnt this :

– That you have to be intentional about whatever it is you want and it isn’t enough just saying you want to do this or that. What intentional steps are you taking towards it?

– That you are responsible for steering your life in the direction you want it to go.

– That sometimes all it takes is some good music or book to get you out of a mood

Writing these monthly recaps is turning out to be harder than I thought , but I’ll try to keep churning them out. I hope you enjoy reading them also.

I went through my posts from 2014/15 and I realized how much easier things were back then – in regards to the type of posts I produced and I could see from reading them that I was having fun blogging.
Not that I’m not having fun now, but I’m a bit more strategic with everything I put out now than before, (which in itself is a good thing and an evidence of growth) but I feel like bringing back a little bit more fun to this blog – what do you think?

Also, how did April go for you?
I hope you’re having a lovely day?
I’m off to go immerse myself in another book while awaiting your comments! ^_^
Please leave me your thoughts, experiences and lessons in April.
Let’s connect!

P.S – I have a new blog planner batch out now, in case you want to purchase one. If you’re a blogger looking to take your blog more seriously and get strategic with your content, I’m not sure why you haven’t gotten yours till now though. Full details /other bloggers reviews HERE
