Behind The Scenes || My Guardian Life Feature.

Not exactly the model diary you’re used to, because this time around I wasn’t posing as a model but as a blogger! Yes! My first cover as a blogger and it had to be with some of the best Nigerian bloggers out there!

I was a bit surprised when I got there and didn’t find any other fashion blogger. That was when it hit me that I wasn’t shooting with other fashion bloggers but that I was the one fashion blogger representing for the feature, Yo!! Ah! Can you tell that I’m excited just writing this? I actually sent up a quick prayer of thanks, that’s how huge it was for me honestly.
The ministry is moving small small but e remain for my bank account to join. Lol!

I got to meet Bankole, who I lowkey famz already but trust me to maintain composure and the EatdrinkLagos guys, who I wanted to famz but this time around it wasn’t about maintaining composure, I just didn’t know how to start the famzing. *introvert problems* *sigh*

The theme of the shoot was “colour blocking” in case you’re wondering why everyone is looking so colourful. Lol.
I got the email notification for the dress code the day before the shoot and didn’t think of the outfit till the last minute in the morning, because I was disappointed a bit – was really looking forward to being styled in some designer pieces.

I picked out my blue skirt from this post, figured a pink top (the top is from @rococothebrand) and orange heels is ‘colour blocking” enough, folded my rumpled clothes (because phcn) that way and headed on my merry way, hoping there would be a steamer or iron there but there wasn’t. I promise, I’m not looking that disheveled on purpose. The Stylist Henry (@mruduku) added the touch of the scarf.

It felt a bit weird but great being in a shoot not as a model. That shoot was the fastest shoot I’ve ever had in my entire history of shoots and I’ve had quite a number ( You can see them in my model diary segment here)

I’m still going to do a proper blog post of this outfit because these pictures aren’t doing it much justice plus I haven’t even worn it out yet. Lol! So yes, wear it out and then do a full style post on it.
