Lagos Living || Cafe Neo

If you follow me on instagram (why aren’t you though?), you probably think me a fraud right now for promising a style post and bringing you this.
I was typing up the promised post when I realized that its only just wednesday. You might have noticed that these days, I’ll rather my outfit posts come on fridays so bear with me a bit okay?

I was going to make this a ‘weekend bit’ post but even though its what I got up to this weekend, its more like a review of the place where what I got up to was held, so yeah now we have the “Lagos Living’ (click to view other cool lagos places/finds) category.

This past weekend, Kachi and I decided to go for the bialere exhibition curated by Yagazie Emezi which was held at Cafe neo – I had never been to cafe neo prior so I was a bit unsure of what to expect and how the artworks were going to be hung up.
I went with a friend and met up with Kachi there. We also planned to touch base at the genevieve summer party just opposite where we were but somehow got carried away with taking pictures and conversing with some of the cool people we met there and didn’t go anymore. I regretted that decision after reading dofe post on it *cries in missed goodie bag*

So cafe neo is this really lovely coffee shop on the island. I like to think that I’m not much of a coffee person, actually have never had coffee before but I decided to give it a try and had their caramel machiato which was actually quite nice. My friend ordered for lemonade and we exchanged drinks at a point, I also loved the lemonade.
They sell other drinks too (smoothies, fresh juice etc) and pastries, i got chocolate cake which wasn’t too bad but I’ll probably try their sandwich next time instead.

Its a really cool space to reconnect with friends, have a meeting with a partner or just chill while working on the internet or reading a book. I think there’s free Wi-Fi too, I didn’t ask so I can’t tell for sure.
Its located at No 16 Akin Adesola/Adeola Odeku, in case you’ll like to check it out.

Ever been to Cafe neo? What was your experience like?
