Outfit || Vintage Goodness With An Urban Twist.

Hey Hey!

I know I’ve been away for a while but I explained why in this post.
I’m finally done with my finals and I must say it was two long really emotional weeks!
I’m just thankful to God for seeing me through and for the friends who stuck around constantly reassuring me, and of course you guys! the real MVP’s! Now we begin the long wait to the release of the results.lol

Anyways, I’ve been feeling a bit out of the loop. You know when you stay away for a while and kind of find it hard getting back?

This was actually kind of a last minute look. I planned to wear something else to church but somehow got a brain wave somewhere between midnight and day break and decided to try this on instead.
Wore it with flats to church though because when you are way taller than the three friends you went to church with, you obviously wouldn’t want to make matters worse by wearing heels #tallgirlsproblems.

You all know I’m a sucker for vintage skirts and I’ve worn this skirt previously here but this time I tried to spice it up a bit by adding a sleeveless denim jacket (which is an urban fashion item) and doing something different with the footwear.
I’m rocking my fun lip color again and my dapmod shades.

Found this vintage mini bag in my mum’s closet and decided to rescue it before it goes to ruin. My mum never wears these things! She just keeps storing them till something bad happens and they become unwearable. Smh
I’m obviously seriously digging the socks and shoes stuff. I’ve done it here, and here (all with different types of footwears).

What do you guys think of this look?
