Pandora Store Launch Ikeja

Yet another weekend that didn’t go as planned. I guess I should start going with the flow instead of making all these plans that end up crumbling anyways. *sigh*
I had planned to attend the Live your dreams africa event and a book fair afterwards on saturday while ending the weekend at the strip exbition in Re.Le but things started falling apart and I finally ended up at the Pandora store launch event in Ikeja city mall after a friend came to my aid.

Pandora is a global jewelry brand that is well known for their customizable charm bracelets, designer rings, earrings and necklaces.
I really really love their jewelries especially the neck chains, and rings, so simple and dainty! Perfect for layering! A bit pricy I think, but then it is quality and that might just be the unemployed youth in me speaking so never mind me.

The email I got mentioned that they were going to host media people and bloggers from 12-3pm before opening the doors of their store for people to shop so I kind of pictured meeting other bloggers / media people I know, maybe a little talk/ laughs here and there and a speech from the brand director. You know that type of thing but I got there a bit late anyways so I’m not sure if I missed that or it just didn’t happen.
Yup It definitely happened and I missed all the fun! Just saw on cocophemmie’s instagram that I missed yagazie, a couple of other bloggers I know, and Di’ja’s perfomance.
They also all got charm bracelets from pandora *cries in missed opportunity*
Oh well, I got a really cute journal and cosmetic mirror in my goodie bag so ehrr… *side eye*

I was a bit bummed about my day though. Didn’t really fancy just standing and looking around. See why its always so comforting going to these events with a friend?
Anyways, we can’t move the ministry forward just from staying indoors and laying on the bed all day, can we? Right!
I ended up consoling myself with some kfc chicken and burger.
Oh and I met three of my blog readers, even though one called me ‘Cassie DAVIES (why, oh Lord why?) , their warm compliments definitely brightened up my day. Thank you!

Hope your weekend went well?
What did you get up to?
I hope you all have a lovely week!
