Culottes this length? I think it counts!
What else looks like a skirt but isn’t really a skirt? Oh yeah skorts, but I’m sure everyone can tell the difference. Culottes are all the rave now and this is one trend I’m definitely sold on. Why?
– I like the illusion it gives off. Now its a skirt.. Now its a pant/shorts
– Goodbye Marilyn Monroe moments!
– It is super comfortable too..
I personally prefer the calf length/ barely at the ankle length ones like the one in this post on making your basics work for night time.
This one I’m wearing has been around way before this whole culottes rave came to be. I can’t tell where my sister picked it up at but I’m my sister’s keeper in every sense of the word – I keep her clothes too.
This is another look I pulled out of my capsule wardrobe – its nothing too fancy. The original idea was to wear it with flats for weekend chills or school runs but when I had to attend the Pandora store launch event and my indecisive spirit showed up again because I had quite a number of Outfit options (thanks again to le capsule wardrobe idea), I decided to stick with what I already had on. I threw on a hat and heels and hurried out the door.

I'm not a huge fan of heels and thank God I'm 6'1 and don't really need it! I would have been too sad if I had to wear heels all the time.
