The All Black Outfit Inspiration.

I was going to title this “how to wear an all black outfit and not look boring” but I remembered I already have a post here with that exact title and to be frank; a million other people out there have a post with that exact title too.

Also, what was I really thinking then?! Does one really need any guide/tips to style the all black outfit? I don’t think so. Although, it’s amazing the ridiculous things people are googling out there, and that includes “How to wear all black outfit”.

I think that black is a fail safe color. You can hardly go wrong with styling black on black. Although you can definitely look “too safe”.

So I figured I should flip the script a little and show y’all how I styled an all black outfit to fit my personal style and still look cool.

This was one of my Ouidah vacation looks and in hindsight, I realize how unwise packing/wearing an all black outfit in a hot environment was. The things we do for “Fashunz’.

I’m wearing one of my fave tees – the do epic shit tee from my tee collection (shop here) paired with boxy oversize black pants because would it really be me if it isn’t a tad bit over-sized?.

What really made this outfit though, was the accessories – my beret, fanny pack and sunglasses added an extra oomph to really bring the look together.

The Beret made an uber stylish come back in 2016 and somehow managed to make it to my list of cool head gears. I did a “Beret style inspiration” post here and also styled it previously here.

The fanny pack on the other hand (and in this case), was more to help me keep my hands free while we were out exploring but look how it also helped make the look pop!
